Don’t Let Fear Control You
Don’t Let Fear Control You
Fear is a terrible thing. It can be debilitating and actually cause you to freeze up, afraid to make a move in any direction. In today’s busy environment it’s easy to get sidetracked and overwhelmed by too much information. On the internet there are literally thousands of choices for you to make. It seems everyone is clambering for your attention. “Take a look at our offer! We are the best opportunity for you. Our program or product is the best choice for , blah, blah..” And then you hear horror stories about people being ripped off. In the home business opportunity arena for example, you Google ‘make money’ and thousands of choices pop up, each sounding like great deals. “You can make $10,000 per month effortlessly just like me if only you invest $20 in our book or $200 for our training course.”
Once you invest your hard earned money you find that the book or course was nothing more than a bunch of fancy talk that doesn’t really work in real life. It all sounded good though. It seemed like it may have worked at some point twenty years ago, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now-a-days. That book or course was just a scam to snatch your money from out of your pocket. That same scam and double-talk is rampant on the internet. People are being ripped off day and night by fancy talking pitchmen who sound like they actually care about your welfare and about the future of you and your family. But, alas, more times than not, that is simply Not the case. That smooth talking guy on tv or on YouTube does not, in fact, have your best interest at heart. He has “his” best interest at heart. Once he has your money he could care less about you. Of course, he doesn’t mind telling you, “if you buy my new training material to get your mind right, than success is sure to follow.”
That is just another lie. So, it’s easy to see how and why people freeze up with fear. Paranoia is now rampant as well. Almost any time you try to investigate a new “opportunity” to make money on YouTube or Google you’ll find tons of people shouting, “watch out, it’s a scam! It’s all a scam!” Who can you believe? What can you believe? It’s easy to become cynical and start to think that there is no truth out there. There are no opportunities to be had. Everything is a scam. There is no hope. The best thing to do is stay put and don’t attempt anything. Don’t try anything and you won’t get ripped off, you won’t get hurt.
Fear can clutch you in it’s bony grip and it’s easy to rationalize and say, “I’m just realistic. I will not be taken for a fool.” Don’t try and you won’t fail. That attitude, my friend, will only lead you down a path of fulfillment and feelings of hopelessness. Yes, it’s true, there are a lot of scammers out there in the world today. Predators willing to snatch away your hard earned cash from you.
But, at the same time, there are actually real opportunities out there waiting for you to discover them or to create them yourself. Do not believe everyone out there on the web that says they have the next best thing or that they have the answer to your prayers. Instead, strive to create your own opportunities where you are the one in charge. If making money is your objective, then create a business where you have control of the products or services. Do not believe the people who say that they will dropship products for you. If they could ship products to customers and have wholesale products, why would they need you? It makes no sense.
You need your own products (that you make yourself or have made). Don’t try and sell what everyone else is selling. Have a service that you personally can do or hire people to do. You need to be in charge. Do not fall for anyone who tells you that you can make tons of money and they will do all the work for you! That’s just plain crazy talk, people, and you know it!
There are more opportunities in the world today than has ever existed at any time in history, but there are also more criminals willing to steal from you too. Just don’t let fear control you.
Well, I’m Farley Drake and that’s my two cents worth.
